At Great Feets Podiatry we have been very lucky to have Kate Carter join our team this year. Kate is in the first 6 months of her PhD in podiatry at Western Sydney University.
We’d like to give her a BIG CONGRATULATIONS as she has just successfully passed the Confirmation of Candidacy, which is a presentation of her research proposed to the University review panel. Completion of the Confirmation of Candidacy is the formal approval to proceed with the PhD – her 1st big hurdle!!
Foot problems commonly affect people with inflammatory arthritis such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Gout and Psoriatic Arthritis. Kate ‘s research will be to find out more about the foot complaints in this patient group.
